T610 Script error: Flash error [9.21.43]


i want to reflash an avr readout (zone gdfs), i think the right way is to flash the gdfsreadout called "t610vodafonegermanygdfsreadout.flp" in the tab 'flash avr' but i got this error

Script error: Flash error [9.21.43]

How to writeback the readout in my phone?

Sadly you can't do what you're trying to do, you'll get this script error.
There was a discussion about this once before but I'm unable to find it through search at the moment (I'll keep looking)

I think the "answer" from memory was that the only way a backup such as this can be flashed to the phone is if it's given to Lead and he converts it so that it's an MDC file. This can then be flashed to GDFS.

thx
so i must use lasers good old setool for terminator to creating and flashing readouts
i do not inderstand why is the 'read flash' function implemented, if i could not use this file.

This is my understanding, I'm not sure exactly why though

Flash readout is implemented so that you can read out new flashes/different flashes that need to be examined by Lead.

You can't just right those flashes back to phones because doing so destroys important calibration data in the phone. Lesser tools that don't care about such things allow this to be overwritten, Cruiser does not.

The solution is to have the read file converted properly. Once converted, flashed to a phone will not overwrite important data.

So yes, it's inconvenient. But it's done for the sake of safety.

Again: That's my understanding of it. I'm not saying that's fact.
