mmc memory card write protection problem - GSM-Forum

hi need help...

cant copy files to my kingston 1g dv mmc memory card as when i try i get the message "cannot copy X this disk is write protected, remove write protection or use another disk"

its doing my head in ive googled the problem and followed a few ideas like reformatting the card in my phone which i did but still no joy...

plus ive checked to see if the card is pasworded and it isnt so please can anybody help....

no man card is not passworded,but look at ur card adaptor it has a small clip to lock or unlock in left side pls lift up and it'll be ok.enjoy.

this is the card i have

i dont use the other bit that makes it a full size i just plug the memory card straight into the pc's card reader...as you can see there is no clip on the actual card ?????
