I personaly managed to destroy one MAD2 (just for experiment) and did remove one Cobba, but with the PCB totaly damaged.
Best regards
Daniel |

Member: 5379 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | yes, freestyler is right, i've already messed up some pcb and bga too, the glue can't be melted, even i've already heated it for a long time.
i think that the solution is that we must find some liquid or compound which could melted the glue first, some friends of mine suggest me to use amoniak, anybody ever heard about it ? |

First, soak the board in lacquer thinner to soften the emicon then heat with large amounts of air. Not sure if it won't kill a useable board, but was successful in a scrap one. Hope this helps. Anybody with further info can chip in. |
