PA bridge


i have seen in some places a draw with a bridge in the pa.
anybody can tell me what is this? thanks

I think you are talking about a bridge in the Diplexer. This is a temporary way of bypassing the diplexer so we can see if the PA is working.

The diplexer has 2 functions.

1) Antenna Diplexer

2) RX / TX switch. What this does is switches the antenna to the RX & TX circuits of the phone. Normally the switch is set to the RX part, so when the phone needs to send, it switches to the TX part. IF this part is faulty, than TX is working, but it never gets to the antenna because the switch is faulty. This bridge bypasses the switch & sends TX straight out to the antenna!! Only used for testing purposes to see if the diplexer is faulty!!

in the t28 it s work never in nokis now or near or in end of world..
u have to understand the t28 bridge well .. it s not replace the pf function its just turn the main power line to current throught the anntena switch lololololol

lol.... ur news very old dear,, sorry cause I donna put u in understand place but any way we have solution for the power (the same PF) and it working 100%,,,,
nearly I can give u the solution for some types of noika.. but I donna give it to u even u insist try to make me decient with u..

just a question guys, when the diplexer is faulty will there be values in netmonitor?

Are you talking about duplexer or diplexer. Two different things guys. First is used to seporate RX and TX. Second one is used to seporate bands 900 and 1800 or 1900 if you like.
So what is the problem to check them?

thanks scaramouche for your clever explanation, another question more, the signal bar is tx or rx? and then when i loss the signal when i'm speaking in an incoming or outcoming call could be the diplexer?
