Member: 11937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | The diplexer has 2 functions. 1) Antenna Diplexer 2) RX / TX switch. What this does is switches the antenna to the RX & TX circuits of the phone. Normally the switch is set to the RX part, so when the phone needs to send, it switches to the TX part. IF this part is faulty, than TX is working, but it never gets to the antenna because the switch is faulty. This bridge bypasses the switch & sends TX straight out to the antenna!! Only used for testing purposes to see if the diplexer is faulty!! |

Member: 6772 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 17 | Are you talking about duplexer or diplexer. Two different things guys. First is used to seporate RX and TX. Second one is used to seporate bands 900 and 1800 or 1900 if you like. So what is the problem to check them? |
