uBGA Station and Tools ? - GSM-Forum

Hi guys,

Can anyone point me to a serious manifacturer of complete solution for changing ( not rework !) of the uBGA package IC's, please.

As far as I know to solder these chips to the board some additional tools and materials are required.

Any info, please.

depends on your personal preference. Some likes using solder balls, some solder flux.

Here is a link to weller bga station, this is for rework and for renieuwing the bga VERY expensive about 10.000 euro's

Going for a demo myself in september!

By the way is anyone experienced in solder new uBGA chips - is the station form the balls, or you have to apply something like tape under the chip before solder?
