Factory Reset After SD card Encryption

Hello,

I need some information about SD card encryption. I hope to encrypt my SD card. But, I have a confusion. If I reset my Android smartphone in the future, can I decrypt my encrypted SD card or do I need to decrypt the SD card before restting it?

When you encrypt an SD card on your Android smartphone, it's tied to that device's security settings. So, if you reset your Android smartphone in the future, you'll need to decrypt the SD card before resetting it.

Here's a simple way to do it:

Decrypt SD Card: On your Android device, go to Settings > Security > Encrypt external SD card (or a similar option). There should be an option to decrypt the card.
Format SD Card (on Mac https://applenapps.com/how-to-format-sd-card-on-mac/): If you ever need to format the SD card on your Mac, you can use the built-in Disk Utility app. Connect the card to your Mac, open Disk Utility, select the SD card, and choose the option to erase or format it. Just make sure to back up any important data before doing this, as formatting will erase everything on the card.
