This version 1.1.2.20 is for REVISION 2 phones only.

It will not work on non REVISION 2 phones, since boot is different.


If your Phone's Product Code is not in list below, it means your phone is NOT REVISION 2 and this firmware is NOT COMPATIBLE with your phone.

If you badly need to use 1.1.2.20 on a NON REVISION 2 Phone, then UNCHECK 7 BOOT Partitions before clicking the FLASH Button in ATF Software...:

problem with j tag nokia xl
i downloaded NOKIA_XL_RM-1030_FULL_BOOT_1.1.0.6 afp files and when i push restore button ، say below error in picture !!




jtag chain is ok !
qualcomm cdma technologies msm drivers is installed!
whats problem ?

1. Do not connect battery

2. Only use USB Connection

3. Make sure the 2 ORANGE pads are connected properly.

Please Download the FIXED AFP file for working with latest ATF EXE.
(Original Nokia XL AFP was not compatible with latest EXE)

So here, you will see it...

Because you are trying to flash V2 firmware to your NON V2 Phone.

I already explained that this will KILL your phone.

If you really want to flash V2 firmware, then the safest way is to just flash the KERNEL (SYSTEM) partition.


For your dead phone, for full recovery follow steps:

1. Repair Boot via JTAG
* I uploaded 1.1.1.0 and 1.1.1.4 boots for RM-1030 to ATFJ Server already so you can use them if you like

2. Flash phone via USB Recovery with Firmware Version preferably same as Boot Version used when you repaired via JTAG.

3. Phone should be 100% working now...


If you want to flash V2 firmware at this point, then

4. Flash V2 Firmware SYSTEM Partition Only.


Phone will be working and with latest kernel inside...



But you know, in reality 1.1.1.4 is newer than 1.1.2.20


So better use 1.1.1.4 instead and skip step 4 above

What difference nokia xl and nokia xl V2 in hardware&saftware?

They are using different bootloaders.

please share the test points to use(for RM-1030) nokiaXL.. i saw in your earlier post you said they resemble that for 510..RIGHT?..i find it easy to use molex ( i intend to use molex)

No, it is not "molex".

Just load AFP file to ATFJ.exe and you will see pinouts.
