Lumia 920 Locked again after many months

I unlocked this AT&T Lumia 920 phone with code.
Now after many months, customer returned phone asking for code.
I put the same old code and its not accepting.

What do I do next ?

Hi, customer must have updated the phone and why old code isn't working could be because AT&T gave you PUK code and you are maybe writing code on PIN request... If this is the case, than use all 10 PIN request and after phone should ask for the PUK code - now you should write the old-codes.

Does PUK code exists for WP8 phones?

For Nokia Lumia 900, yes, but for 920?

@german gsm team:

I thought it is Lumia 900 WP7, my bad...

@dannyogolo:

Lumia 920 WP8 doesn't have PUK request or anything like SIMLock counters. They will get back to 10 left every time we restart the phone. So, for your problem - check if the codes you are writing is for same IMEI as the phone.

It is from same IMEI - I used the imei to locate the code from the list of completed jobs on server.

Any other ideas?

WP8 Lumia does not have PUK... Unlock attempts are unlimited but with delays.

20-digit unlock code is saved in a fat16 file "unlock.bin" similar to PM 120-3...

This file does not get erased even when you flash phone.

It gets invalidated when carrier releases updates to "disable" unlock.

Try to downgrade phone with low version, it should accept the code
again... that is if nothing is wrong with the code.

Just keep in mind... downgrading might kill phone or it might not...

WP8 is tricky like this... in other words "unstable"
