A bridge? You're sure (You've tryed)? You think that are two zero-ohm resistors?

There was a post sometime before about this component. It is a filter on the USB lines (EXC14CE on Digikey), and can be replace with two wires, in the case of your photo from top to bottom.

I have actually done this and can verify that it works with wires replacing the part.
