Apple Iphone 3GS Glass Screen Broken - GSM-Forum

Hi I got an Iphone 3GS Glass Screen Broken. Problem is that the suction cup method doesn't work since only the glass screen part comes off leaving the lcd and whatever it's attached to intact. What should I do to pry the other part off?

Use of of these tools: http://hosting.dinodirect.com/hostin...l-1-Gallay.jpg and gently go around the screen with it pushing a little inside and you`ll see some rubber coming off. Just go gently on all the sides until all that is off, then gently take off the pieces that might fall and underneath the digitizer there`s the rack that holds the screen and make sure you take it off gently without breaking it. You`ll have no problem after that taking off the remaining pieces and replacing the digitizer.
