Custom firmware update fail (PwnageTool). You have to restore the device  with a custom firmware. Update to a custom firmware isn't working.  Device isn't bootable. 2 
USB Problem. Check the USB connection and try other direct ports or maybe the USB cable is an older one. Device isn't bootable.
i have same fault iphone 3g phone water entery,i changed usb unit but same error show,any one faced this problem?
i need information and digram with usb port

Disassemble and then clean rusted/dirty components with Isopropyl Alcohol or Hexane spray. You may need to use a q-tip or cotton swab to remove corrosion.

the same error i have i picked the board up of the iphone 4 and put it into another iphone 4 worken and im trying to restore and the same error appear

just the board tested in another phone so new usb socket and full housing and every thing is worken expect the board and the same error i have

so please any any solution ? : (
