How about signal problems. The phone constantly drops signal on all bands. I know this is hardware related because I have an identical 3G iPhone with same software and works completely fine? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sorry for bumping this old thread up, but I have this error 23 problem. Symptoms are same as other people in this thread have had: apple screen pops up only for a moment when plugged in charger or pc, DFU or Itunes restore mode -restore cannot be completed due the error 23.

I was wondering could I use the reheat trick YouTube - ‪iPhone WiFi Repair: Oven Fix (Reflowing the PCB) - also works on iPod Touch‬‏ in order to try to safe my Iphone 3g, or should I try the two component resolder solution mentioned previously in this thread?

All help is welcome
