Member: 2153085 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | ipad 2 cdma restore get -1 error Now, after taking it apart, I found that the cdma-module is actually missing! (probably lost by previous owner) Is it even possible to restore and use an ipad 2 A1397 without the cdma-module connected?? i live in Sweden and we dont use cdma here, but it would be great if i could get it to work as a "wifi-only" ipad. Any ideas?? |

Member: 2153085 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thank you for that advice! Although working with repearing ipads for 2 years, I had totally missed that information about bypassing icloud by changing the ipad id. And Yes, although my ipad was not icloud locked, the same workaround fixed it so i could restore it as a wifi-only ipad. It was not easy, but my first micro soldering attempt was successfull!!! |
