iPhone 2G Wifi problem

Strange problem, Wifi scans for available networks, shows networks in range, but doesn't connect to it.
History: was not like this before, use to connect perfectly fine.
Haven't tried restoring as am worried to lose jailbreak & unlock of it.
Pls advice, thanks in advance.

Try restoring firs, its possible a SW problem not HW.
You can always jailbreak and unlock on 2G, just use custom IPSW on 3.1.3 don't worry.

p.s. first try (reset network settings) on your 2G

iPhone 2G Wifi problem

I tried both, but of no luck, I am sure that it's a hardware problem, cause some time it connects, some time it don't even scan, and some time it connects and then after a while disconnects and disable.
So I require assistance.
Thx

iPhone 2G Wifi problem

Any help, does it seems that it might be antenna problem?
Or is it the ic? In both cases, I would love to know the tech details, so to order it online & get it fixed.
Thanks in advance.

You might need to reflow, it's a common problem. There are guides on youtube.
