Member: 1224858 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 6 | Looking for someone with a 3G iphone logic board and a multi-meter I'm looking for a bit of help from anyone that has a logicboard/motherboard from an iPhone 3G to hand, and a multi-meter… I had to re-attach one of the ins of the SIM card carriage, due to it shearing off when the SIM card tray was inserted the wrong way round - not by me! So I re-soldered the damaged SIM carriage on to the little of the contact that was left on the Logicboard (point A on attached photo) which all went well… But whilst checking the board with a multimeter I have noticed that there is continuity between the pin I re-soldered and point B on the photo, or any of the other pieces of metal shielding (I presume this is ground). I don't want to put the phone back together and power it up only to realise something is shorting out and **** a load of components… So I would be really grateful if soon could confirm if there should be continuity (connection) between the 2 labeled points (A and B) ? Cheers Oliver |

Member: 1114125 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | NAFG can you handle this (160x error) Hello all!Help needed with two iphones 3G 8GB.With same error 160x. 1.First iphone : when i plug the cable it shows battery sign but no charge, i can put in DFU and wont restore (error 23).After i disansembled and look carefully at all flat cables and ansambled back it show nothing on screen (just a few lines when i put in dfu mode)When i try to restore gives a error 160x (1601 mostly). I have tried x variants on x PC (even MAC) and same error.I think is something HW. 2.Second iPhone was dropped down and display was broken so i changed the lcd and it works but when i put all screws back and ansambled him it show nothing...black display same lines on DFU same error on DFU. Any help woud be apreciated. Thanks in advance. BR Gsmparts |
