I have an iPhone 3g and shows no sim but some times shows the providor with no bars signal after while the same no signal help

Maybe sounds like waterdamaged phone.Take a look to sim card holder for corrosion/ damaged contacts, and to antenna dock...

i tell you a story... my private 3gs ist falling down.. plop.. into the snow.
Pluged with dock in snow. Only for a second.. After 2 or 3 days i have bad service. After 4 days NO service. Opened.. All indicators are OK! After i changed the Antennadock, everything was fine again..

i changed the Antenna Dock i take one 3g with no problem i change the main board and again the same issue no service but if you leave it there for a while it gets the Sim provider name but no bars signal and them no service
