hello it miss 3 component c20 c12 and fl5 so to make jumper... those capa are 100PF 5% 25v for info and in shematic you can see that one side go to ground the other for c20 where arrive batterie 3 its connected to GAS_GAUGE_CONN and for c12 batterie 2 its conected to
NTC_CONN

clean properly your boardand try to see if there is any possibility to solder new capa or if you reach to catch the VIA and solder it with very little wire or to jump until GAS_GAUGE and NTC_CONN ididnt check what it that but it looklike connector.

good luck

You need to really clean that board up first so you can see what you're doing.

Wow! Did you do all that damage yourself? Your wire is WAY too large, looks like your iron is to hot and you have no flux. I'd advise you stop as you will damage it beyond repair.

Hello People ,

I got 2 Iphone 4.

Both fell in the water!!

Iphone 1 :

Cleaned it , I let it dry. Everything works except touchscreen! Its not the screen itself but something on the motherboard , is it the connector or the IC?

Iphone 2 :

Cleaned it , Let it dry!
Everything works but it does not charge and does not turn on with battery. It DOES turn on with a charger.

So there is a short somewhere! Also the 4 VERY SMALL connectors that everybody is rewiring to , the 1 on the upper right is loose! What do i do now? Resolder it?

http://i793.photobucket.com/albums/y...IL/Iphone4.png

Im talking about the very small 4 connectors , not the battery connector!

Thanks!!!

Btw , Brod! Does your Iphone work now?

I've been reading through these topics but what are "filters" ? I know what filters are but not on a Iphone 4?
Those small connectors wich are used for jumpers , what are those things? Do i need them?

One of the 4 really small conductors are broken.
I tried very hard to make a jumper, but how it seems there is no space where it can take some solder...
What should I do?
The phone doesnt charge!
Please help, read this Thread but didnt found any solution
