iPhone 4 Home Button not working / always on - GSM-Forum

Hi there

My iPhone 4 Home Button isn't working anymore. The mechanical part is working fine, I hear the click sound and the feeling is normal. But the Home Button is just not working if I press it. And sometimes the voice command appears (if you press the hold button for a long time on a normal working iPhone, the voice command appears) without doing anything. And if connected to the PC, the iPhone starts in recovery mode, I guess thats because the home button seems to be pressed all the time (but its not).

Because of this information, I changed the Home Button Flex and the old one seemed broken (by eye) and I thought replacing it would solve my problem but it didnt!!

Do you have any idea what else the problem could be? The logicboard?

no one out there with the same problem or with an idea how to fix this?

Same problem here... Was sitting at the bar and went to check my phone and it won't respond. Home button is totally unresponsive. Any help would be greatly appreciated
