Member: 2040206 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hello sonkar, because it is not working in hands free. (assuming that it is being plugged into a headset). I would possibly look at (i know you possibly have), but look at the sound settings make sure it is not muted? maybe the switch on the side of the phone is not clicked off properly, possibly some grit stopping it clicking on. double click home button slide to sound and see if you can move slider. There are 2 mics in iphone 4g one at the top of power button cable. Maybe also try another dock connector as I have had some with buggered mics before. hope it helps Soleous75(Mobile i-Tech) |

Member: 2036067 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | I guess u should tell us what cause this problem liquid corrosion or dropped. i can only give u a brief descrip of how mic working. when u making call U60 will send a 1.8v voltage through R48 to J3 pin 37 it will go through mic negative side to pin 39 there is one capacitor and resistor to U60, then the positive side will go to pin 41 it will meet FL13 and C142 and others. so make sure the 1.8v voltage generated when making call. and there is to test point TP433 nega and TP432 posi .which can test if U60 works. |
