Member: 2293617 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | iPhone 4S Call malfunction, no sound, no mic + Wifi slow Today I bought an used iPhone 4S and have some problems with it. I knew it had problems with sound during calls, you can not hear the caller nor can he hear you, which means the mic and speaker don't work. It also doesn't work with bluetooth headset, cabled headset or speakerphone enabled. But this only occurs in the phone application. On Voice memos, siri, etc. everything works fine. Earlier I got it to work by pressing down on the left side of the buzzer box with the speaker in it - but since I slid the backcover back on, it doesn't work anymore, even if I do it again. Also I have weird WLAN issues. The phone is very very slow, even though the net is fast. Another iPhone and android phones are surfing the web fast while this particular 4S is so very slow. 3G is fine. What kind of error is this? I read about the Audio IC above the A5 chip, but since it worked whilst pressing on the buzzer box, I'd like to rule that out... I repaired many iPhones but this is new to me, so I'm very confused right now and it would be super tight if someone here could help me out |

Member: 2293617 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Today I got audio IC replaced by a professional, which I regret. I could've gotten another, functional 4S for the price that guy asked. The iPhone booted without a problem, but the touchscreen goes crazy now. Plus now there's no sound at all, not just during a call. What the frak is happening here? |
