iPhone 5 dead touch

the customer bring this iphone 5 to me asking for a screen replacement because the touchscreen wasn't working anymore, after the replace the touchscreen worked perfectly for like 2-3days, then the customer bring it back to me because the touchscreen is dead again, now i've tried to replace with another display but still no touch response, i'm thinking this issue is not relative to the display but some problem with the motherboard, do you have any suggestion?

p.s the phone is in very good conditions and the customer said it have never been dropped to ground or any similar damage

Dont beleive the stupit customers. They say always not dropped etc. Check the touch connector for crack etc try another battery. Check for missing components around touch connector. Iphone 5 has 2 touch ics u12 and u14. Search in internet u find the location. It may also be related to pmu. I cannot upload fotos yet to show how to check the voltage. Check shematics.

Tyvm for the answer lord, checking the case i see no signs of hurt or drop, also when he took the phone to me the screen was not broken, just the touch not working, anyway at the moment im not very good at reading schematics, i've found after leaving the phone off for a some days and turning it on again the touch work perfectly for like 1day, then stop working again.

Thank you Lord so much appreciated. So the next step is to check for any crack around these two ICs, and if so proceed with replacement, it is worth to try a reflow ?
