Member: 2757091 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Iphone 5c clock and time problem I have an iphone 5c with the common time and clock issue. I changed the Y2 quartz for a new one with no result, i tried to re-hot the wifi and the U7 chips and it changed nothing too. My question is, does this Y2 quartz component have a single direction to solder it or can it be soldered in both ways ? What can i check now and how to check it, knowing that i’m not a pro so my equipment is not pro too, but i have an electronic microscope, a multimeter and all the needed shematics. Thanks a lot for your help |

In diode mode, when i put the black wire on one side of the Y2 component and the red wire one the other side, i have nothing, no continuity. When i put the black on ground and the red on each side of Y2, i have nothing too. Any idea ? |
