Member: 821646 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 507 | Iphone X VDD_Main Short Repair Done. Just Received an Iphone X That was dead. After inspecting I found that the phone had short on VCC_Main Supply. When connected to DCPS it was consuming 3.Amps. Separated the upper and bottom PCB. After separation Connected the Upper Pcb To DCPS and found that the short is not on the upper part but on the bottom Board. After Inspection i found that the VDD_main Power Line was Short. Injected 4Volts to VDD_Main supply to see which parts get Warm. Two Caps were Heating C303 and C304 but C304 was found to be short. After Removing Shorted Cap the short on VDD_Main Was Gone. After Removing Short Reballed the bottom PCB with Stencil. Successfully Reballed PCB Soldered back both PCB's. Phone Repaired Successfully. Alhamdulillah. Sorry for Such Long Post. :) Hope it helps someone. |
