Known issues iOS 7 & Replaced LCDs?

Hi there,

We are getting a lot of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S coming in where screen has been replaced and after updating to iOS 7 the screen has no display. We are replacing with same batch of screens and screen works fine.

Anybody aware of issue?

lcd issues

I too have had this issue.

Strangely enough, I have had 3 phones that I have replaced LCDs in the last month come back in as "suddenly not working" directly after updating to IOS7

whats even more strange is that all 3 phones I had put purple LCDs onto the phone.

Each LCD was removed and tested on my tester and works just fine, but once plugged into the phone....nothing...However, every other colour seemed to work just fine.

I tried each of my purple LCDs on 2 separate iphones 4s running ios 7.0.0.

Soooooo, Anyone know whats going on with this?

If you unplug battery for 20 minutes and plug back in the LCD will work again but with marks. This has happened with our batch of screens so what we are now doing is updating to iOS 7 first for our customer.

Hope this helps
