HTC Hero - no connection - NRST is routed? - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I am not able to connect to my HTC Hero.
I think I have a problem with my setup because I am not sure if I have to connect the battery or a psu or usb cable. I really don't understand the "resurrection help"

1) What is JIG?
it's like ths pic. but i advice u to solder wire as phone pinout will work fin with u But it's need to good skills to solder wire u should to read this :

2) What does "make sure NRST is routed, if not - solder wire manually" mean?

if u solder wire correctly don't care about this

3) Do I have to power on the device manually?

yes it should be powerd But when u connect USB cable+batrry phone powerd automatic don't need to press power putton
