99% I am using this Medusa box to quickly flash partitions by USB.

Is there any way to run the software without this clumsy box? The octopus 6 month/1 year licenses are wonderful. The box is great for JTAG but I haven't done JTAG in many years.

I keep 3 of these Medusa boxes because about once a year one fails (smart card doesn't read) and then can't do job for 4 days until replacement arrives from hong kong.

Hello.

You can use Smart-Card Reader instead of Medusa box to connect the smart card to the PC.

For example, here it is SURE Smart-Card Reader 2

Thank you for the response but that wasn't what I was looking for. These smartcard readers and smartcards are the issue I am having. I only want to use the software without plugging in any generic gadgets and playing with generic drivers. Bump the box and the program crashes, etc...

Is there a way to run the software like with the octopus licenses? Happy to pay for the license.

Hello.

No "Medusa Pro Software" runs only with a smart key.
