Huawei E1550 Repair


Hi,
Yesterday i bought GPG ORT... Today i got Huawei E1550 dead modem.. i solder TRST,TDI,TMS,TCK,RTCK,TDO,GND as show in pinout.. connect modem to usb & press scan.. but not connected. software stuck.

VREF is needed !
Master manual inside there is application for external vref !
Vref is 2,6 V for this CPU

just solder RST pin in between TRST & TCK.
insert usb cable no need of vref
and connect.
support pinout is not fully correct.

I connect 2.6v red- pin1 black- pin16 using my dc power supply & connect modem to usb click scan...show this error.

ERROR:RTCK time out.

still ur vref is not correct,no need any power supply just insert usb cable in modem and then try may be it can solve ur density prob else contact product supporter.
and a request to product supporter plz correct the pinout on support

Yes. u r correct.. after your trick + vref i connect my modem 100%
My first repair with ORT-JTAG SUCCESS..

This trick works could u tell me bro from which file i hv to flash E1550 becoz there r two dump files there. One is E1550_FlashType_128MB.bin and other one E1550_128 which one is good becoz first file is half in the size i think it is corrupted. Now i m flashing with E1550_128 bin file is it okk file??

If u hv better or tested file plz post it here.
