p500 dead pls help - GSM-Forum

hi, i have an lg p500, i got the required files from support, but i seem to have some problem: if i load it in ort tool as one button repair the file is not recognized and i receive some visual c runtime library error, if i flash it normally with the universal flash programmer the phone is still dead. also i tried the qt tool, same thing. i am new to ort jtag so maybe it is my fault.

ps: jtag connection is OK, cpuid and flashid are read correctly.

also, my machine is running windows xp sp3, on my win 7 box the software does not run at all (fresh install, no antivir, no other programs installed)

Did you try with ORT Tool 1.28 ?

Please try and post the screenshot pls

Use latest ORT PLUS
Select P500
Click scan
Put the file in phones folder go to repair tab select model and click repair
