I have same issue with this model. also tried rooting but all solution online doesn't help for now.

Yes Rooting i guess would work. However rooting this specific model seems not possible with countless method on net. the only root that actually work are with custom rom which i also tried and work. However the issue is that once rooted on this custom rom octopus cannot detect the model.



if there are any solution to root please advise. i had gone through this forum and few others XDA, MartinView, gsmdevelopers & youtube with all responds showing no success.


Patch boot.img files also cannot work on this new security patch as yet.

EFTSU not working as well.

there are no current root solution for u3 of this device..i exhausted all methods available and still no luck
