Member: 2371548 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 27 | If you are wiping the efs files via service menu no need to root. Writing cert via uart and writing the qcn do not require root. I am for sure now that the reason we cannot write certs via usb is because lollipop creates a new EFS version (just like when phones went from 4.1.2/4.2.2 to 4.3) and that new efs version can only be read by lollipop modems. Until we can figure out the new format/security of the new efs verison writing certs via usb will not be possible..that is why both z3x and octopus cannot read the imei from the phone. |

Make shure that "USB debug" option on the device is turned on. Certificate has been written successfully Please, restart the phone to apply changes Now the computer won't see the device (tried two different computers) |
