G928F 6.0.1 FRP done - GSM-Forum

i want to share with you what i did

1st download this file { SBOOT_G928F_OJ5.oct } from support and flash it
phone will hang on samsung don't worry
2nd put it on download mode and reset FRP, phone will not boot up so don't worry again

3th download { g928fxxu2aoj5_g928feur2aoj2_eur_android_5.1.1.oct } and flash it.
last step is to do a hard reset and voila your phone is working without any problem and you can update to the last version if you want.

I posted this because many users are afraid of downgrading their phone.

Thanks for good report!

@nbkappa, You can use "SBOOT_G928F_OJ5" SBoot file in cases, when phone has one of the latest firmwares, which causes issues with removal of FPR lock.

i want to share with you what i did

very simple solution with g928f 6.0.1 is to
- flash it with this SBOOT_G928F_OJ5.oct phone hangs on logo dont worry!t
- Reset FRp with octoplus when done phone restarts but hangs again
- Now flash it with firmware 6.0.1 with odin or octoplus. all will be ok
