Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | I'll download it again and have another go.. From last time I downloaded it for this phone.. It said something along the lines of "not for tihs model" or similar.. maybe the file was corrupt via download.. downloading it again now. |

To put SM-G935F into Download Mode, You have to perform the following steps: 1. Reconnect the battery. 2. Press and hold "Volume-" + "Home" + "Power ON" keys. 3. When phone turns on, press "Volume+" key. Found phone on File has been created for a different phone model. Performed by 2.4.1 Software version. Flashing any other file results in Welcome to Octoplus/Octopus Box Samsung software version 2.4.1 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To connect SM-G935F phone you have to perform the following steps: 1. Disconnect USB cable from phone. 2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device. 3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options. 4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options. 5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option. Selected firmware file: g935fxxu1apd1_g935fodd1apba_bng_android_ 6.0.1.oct Please put the phone into Download Mode and connect USB cable. Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | The phone is a G935f tried to flash another G935 and the same has happened. This is after updating to the latest octopus software. Cannot get either phone to get beyond the "system" point on any software it would seem. Very odd. The file I used is G935FXXU1APEQ_G935FUWA1APEQ_PCT_Android_6.0.1 |

Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | Tried that.. Failed at the same spot. After using then oct file I downloaded from support the phone will not accept the system file. Tried half a dozen firmware files right up to an early 7 release.. all files fail at the same point. Any ideas? |

Member: 4611 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 68 | Sorted (by fluke I think). Used Odin and selected repartition and upadate boot.. along with a full flash.. Went straight through, and dm failure has been fixed too :-) I can go to sleep now :-) Cheers for the help. |
