Member: 2379435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | I9300 Writing IMEI failed after "executing exploit" i tried to change the firmware, re-rooted many times, made hard reset, started all again, but could not pass the "executing exploit" task. IMEI on phone shows null/null. I'm trying to check another firmware, this time from support area, but the website doen't wanna open. It may be my connection. What should i do next? |

You should re-flash the device with different firmwares and check, whether modem is correct (not Unknown). And only then (when phone's modem part will be correct) perform "Repair EFS" and "Repair IMEI" operations. It is not possible to repair IMEI, if phone's modem part is damaged. If after of writing all firmwares, which You have, phone's baseband is still null or unknown (SW version is Unknown) - most likely, this is HW problem (problem with eMMC flash chip). | |

Member: 2379435 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | I tried 2 other firmwares and several prodecures, again and again, and the SW Version continued "unknown", so IMEI Re-Writing always failed, even repairing network, EFS and everything. As i said, I tried several procedures... I gave this up. It must be hardware problem. Thanks for the support, mate! |
