I9505 unlock - the right instructions

Hellow everyone.

After i have a lot trouble connect the phone correctly and do unlock, i finally managed to unlock.

the instructions in the software they are not clear enough.
Here is what you exactly need to do:

first of all there are some modems (like XXUBMGA) that not support unlock so you need to doungrade the modem to XXUAMDC with this file.
https://mega.co.nz/#!WQtWAIIa!TUeXgl...Xrme2_ZO7j81u4
that make sure that the unlock will work.

Then to the next steps:
  • Connect phone to the box with the micro UART cable. (c3300k)
  • Restart the phone (very important)
  • Dial *#7284# and choose MODEM.
  • Dial *#9090# and choose [4]DM over UART. (THis step is not necessary, but you can do it anyway.)
  • Press unlock.

It's very important keep the phone connected to UART from the begening, this ensures that the *7284 will work.

Please update the instructions in the software.

btw usb debuging is also not necessary at all.

good luck.
