I tested SM-G925T (tmobile s6 edge) this is what i find out:

- read Security works well
- read efs works well
-read info sometimes get error but to fix just unplug and plug back in

I dont have a cert to test and write so i need one. The problem with device is cant be unlocked or repaired at the moment. This is due to the tmobile unlock app that comes equiped with phone. (And probably alot more then i understand)

Here is what i tried to do and where i am at. Hopefully this helps others make progress on device:

- rooted succesfully and installed custom recovery
- was able to uninstall device unlock app w root but it still prompts to use the app when it restarts
- installed international rom (get stactic wifi so dont do unless you can fix) and it prompts for code, but when i insert correct code it says unsuccesful
- tried to write international firmware but it fails. This idea worked on other galaxy by enabling to input code when prompted
- tried service codes *#0011# and *#197328650# for work around but older tricks dont work or not available
- qpst is not reading the phone

Two questions

Is their a apk that can be removed aside from device unlock apk that disables it completely as removing device unlock apk doesnt work? Maybe we can adb push an older s5 unlock apk to this device.

Is possible to write .oct file from international version with tmobile kernal and modem? Maybe this will prompt for code

I have a few of these device to test. But im not rich so no bad ideas lol.

Are you sure??? You cant bluntly say it cant be repaired... I have seen it being done... and done some my self... (not the T-Mobile models) but the cert is the same for All s6 / edge models...

It can be done.. has been done...(g920W , G925W models) and works flawlessly... you need the right tools, files, people and cert... Please octopus help the community....

For T-Mobile (again I haven't done it - Theory only) - Flash the metropcs ROM and try... or buy the unlock code from T-Mobile.. once unlocked you can write the cert... Problem solved.... (imei repair done)....
