Is Samsung SGH-s275R actually supported?

'Samsung SGH-s275R' is listed as supported by Octopus/Octoplus.

This phone has only the following 2 "USB Mode" settings:
(1) 'Charging Only'
(2) 'Media Transfer Only'

When connected directly to PC via USB in either mode, the phone is not recognized by Windows as a' modem' and does not ask to install (Samsung) drivers.

I just got a new "Octopus Box Samsung + LG Edition with Optimus Cable Set" and installed "Octopus Box Samsung v1.9.2" on Win-XP. The box has been recognized and firmware updated.

So I select model SGH-s275R from the box menu.

Acording to 'Octopus Box Samsung v1.9.2' , I need to use an 'UART cable'.

In the package I received from GSM-server, I have only two cables with micro-USB on one end and RJ45 on the other:
1. labeled 'RX-AT170 UART 530K'
2. labeled 'RX-AT106 UART 130K'

"Please, connect phone to UART cable, insert battery and press power button for 3 seconds".

So I connect the phone to the box using either of the two cables. I tried both cables and the phone is not detected / not seen by software/box.

Is cable labeled "RX-AT170 UART 530K" the same as "Samsung Micro UART C3303K (with 530K resistor)"?

Hello.

To "Read codes", do the next:

1. Select correct (Box) COM port in the Software.
2. Press "Read codes" button.
3. Connect the phone via "RX-AT1070 UART 530K" cable to the Box.
4. Insert fully charged battery into the phone.
5. Press and hold "Power ON" button in the phone for 3-5 seconds.
