t999 Unlock problem Octopus

To connect SGH-T999 phone you have to perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect USB cable from phone.
2. Go to Menu->Settings->More->About Device.
3.Tap on "Build number" 7 times to enable developer options.
4. Go to Menu->Settings->More->Developer options.
5. Turn on "USB Debugging" option.
6. Go to dial window.
7. Enter "*#0808#" number.
8. Select "DM+Modem+ADB".
9. Press Home button.
10. Go to dial window.
11. Enter "*#7284#" number.
12. Set "UART" to "PDA" value.
13. Restart phone.
14. Press "Read Info" in software.
Selected firmware file: Root_SGH-T999_4.3.oct
Please switch your phone to the download mode and connect it to a
PC.
To put SGH-T999 phone into download mode you have to perform the
following steps:
1. Reconnect phone battery.
2. Press and hold "Volume - " + "Home" + "Power" buttons.
3. When phone turns on press "Volume+" button.

I know some people say that we have to downgrade the modem as it is with the m919 but I looked everywhere I still get the same problem, debugging is on, is rooted and has been activated accordingly in the menus, does anyone have an idea how to fix this please help
