Thinking of buying an Octoplus box - GSM-Forum

I am considering buying this box, and I am wondering if it would be worth it. My boss will have to approve the purchase so I need to justify it.

The thing is, I already have Z3X activated for LG/Samsung. It would be good to have a backup, but not necessarily worth the investment. Is there any particular advantage that Octoplus has over Z3X?

What I'm most interested in is the JTAG functionality. I've heard that it can work wonders, and I am wondering how much of it is true.

I don't see a lot of newer models in the list for JTAG support. LG G2 (D802), HTC One X, Samsung I9300 for example. Is there really no support for these models?

How about baseband repair? I've been told that this box can do that, but I don't find anything about this either.
