I have a ttl 7404. Looking for a small ttl layout. Actually any working scheme. Plz give some advice what to choose.

where does dejan's scheme get Vcc?

Do I need to use an external power and how many volts is it?

hello,

for my case, i use 9v external battery for input to regulator, then the regulator will output +5v.

From the dejan sche u will see 1 capacitor 47uF at top. From that point on, put the output +5v to it and ignore all the component before that point.

if u dun want to modify that circuit, it will work too. no need external power.

i modify it coz i using Laptop.
