Member: 5285 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 82 | What about this one!!!!! look here SIMCARD8 is a preprogrammed simcard that allow to store or make a backup of 8 different mobile phone sim cards in only 1 simcard. You will need to know IMSI and Ki codes of every simcard that you want to make backup. IMSI and Ki codes are the codes that identify a simcard at your network provider, this codes are encrypted at your original simcard, to find out your will need our SIM-MASTER card reader/writer. Features: • Support for 8 different provider names on the same card • PIN security management like original SIM cards. (3 PIN attempts + 10 PUK attempts) • Storage capacity between 125 and 250 phonebook entries (0 to 125 in EEPROM and 125 on FLASH) • SMS storage capacity configurable from 20 to 40 SMS • Individual SMS centre number for each of the 8 phone numbers • Storage of 10 last dialed numbers (Used only on some mobile brands) • Support for NOKIA, SIEMENS, ALCATEL, PHILIPS, ERICSSON, MOTOROLA, MAXON, PANASONIC, MITSUBISHI, NEC, SAMSUNG mobile phones. Be sure that your phone is unlocked, to be sure that SIMCARD8 will be accepted at your mobile phone. • Update of the 8 phone numbers using the mobile itself (Change in the parameter order) • Selection of the ratio of SMS/Phonebook entries in the mobile itself How to use: The SIMCARD8 is initially programmed with 3 demo cards of Amena, Movistar and Airtel (Spanish operators). So it allow to enter the following 3 PINS (position / PIN / PUK): 1st position 1111 / 11111111 (Amena) 2nd position 2222 / 22222222 (Movistar) 3rd position 3333 / 33333333 (Airtel) corresponding to positions 1 to 3 from the 8 possible ones. The reason for only having three and not only one is so that you can insert the card into a locked phone. So, each PIN is for one of the Spanish operators... If the phone is locked, use the corresponding one. All of them have false IMSIs, but corresponding to those operators. If the phone is unlocked you can use any of them. Once the phone is on and the PIN is inserted the proceeding to update our phone numbers' data is simply top store (not send) a message with one of the following formats: Type 1) Inserting/Modifying a complete number PINa N IMSI KI PUK PINn Type 2) Inserting/Modifying of a number without changing PIN/PUK PINa N IMSI KI Type 3) Deleting a number PINa N EN Type 4) Selecting the number of SMSs and phonebook entries (Deletes all SMS's and phonebook entries on the external EEPROM) PINa MM SM Where: PINa is the PIN used to power on the phone and is used to authenticate the message and NOT to modify the PIN. It's composed by 4 to 8 decimal (0-9) digits. Examples: 1234, 5678 or 12345678 N the phone number position. A number from 1 to 8 corresponding to the "card" the operation is concerning IMSI is the IMSI value to store in position N. It's a number with a length of 18 decimal digits, beeing the first two always "08". Example: 081234567890123456 KI is the valude of the KI to be stored in position N. It's an hex number (0-9 and A-F caps) with 32 digits length. Example: 0123456789ABCDEF0123456789ABCDEF PUK is the value of the PUK to store on position N. It's a decimal number with 8 digits. Example: 12345678 PINn is the value of the new PIN to store on position N. It's a decimal number with length from 4 to 8 digits. EN is a command indicator and must be present for the position N to be deleted. MM is the number of desired SMSs. A number from 20 to 40 (including those). SM is a command indicator to select the number of SMSs indicated by MM. Complete example of a type 1 message to insert our number on position 8. 1111 8 082941705566778899 0123456789ABCDEF0123456789ABCDEF 12345678 12345 IMSI = 082941705566778899 KI = 0123456789ABCDEF0123456789ABCDEF PUK = 12345678 PIN = 12345 Once this message is stored on the SIM, power cycling the phone we can enter PIN 12345 and it'll correspond to our just inserted number. Notes You must leave at least (and at most) one space between each field, so the possible lengths for the messages are: Type 1: Between 72 (4 digit PINs) and 80 (8 digit PINs) Type 2: Between 58 (4 digit PINs) and 62 (8 digit PINs) Type 3: Between 9 (4 digit PINs) and 13 (8 digit PINs) Tipo 4: Between 10 (4 digit PINs) and 14 (8 digit PINs) A type 2 message is used to update a number keeping it's current PIN and PUK. Be aware that initially there are no PIN/PUKs associated with positions from 4 to 8. So, if you wish to have PUK security you must use at least once a type 1 (with PIN and PUK) message for those positions. The update itself is done when the phone writes the message to the SIM and not when it's stored on the phone's own memory like on Ericsson phones. On these models you should give the command to store on the SIM yourself. To avoid deleting all numbers leaving you with no chance to introduce new ones without reprogramming the card, the program running on the card does not allow you to delete the current number (the one corresponding to the PIN with which the phone was turned on). The deletion of a number (position) consists on zeroing out all it's data (IMSI / KI / PUK and PIN). Once all the numbers are stored and working, delete the SMSs used to do it as the card won't delete them automatically. The new message type 4 is used to select the SMS's and also phonebook entries with the following ratios: SMS's PhoneBook SMSs PhoneBook 20 250 30 188 21 244 31 181 22 238 32 175 23 232 33 169 24 225 34 162 25 219 35 156 26 213 36 150 27 206 37 144 28 200 38 137 29 194 39 131 -- -- 40 125 |

Member: 8400 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | so what they do is that they sell you preprogrammed silver pics by dejan gsm_sim , that all that is left for you to do is to set the ki and imsi using any phoenix / smartmouse hardware ... still a good solution for those who dont have a jdm interface ;-) |

Nothing like that... there's been loads of posts about that in spanish forums and now it's clear that uclables has literally stolen simemu's work for their own profit. Remember that simemu does all this entirely free... they havent even answered emails regarding sim8 or whatever.

============================= Please, read this about SIMEMU & Simcard8 Today, and thanks to a mail from Sr.KADIO, and sadly for me, I've been told what Ucable is doing with my simemu. I can assure you that they've not asked me about permission nor they have received any kind of authorisation from me. Have a look at these URLs http://ucables.com/products/simcards/index2.htm http://ucables.com/ref/SIMCARD8 They didn´t even changed a single piece of my page that have been published on their server. (apart from the literal translation) I've already send them several emails, but i dont even know where there actually; it seems there's something around Cordoba (Spain) and the US. It really feels bad for someone who spend his time doing something that he likes (simemu) when this kind of things are discovered. Sometimes you can even think about stopping developing all this... I will keep you informed about everything, specially if UCABLES finally replies me. Regards to all and thanks for having read this. SimEmu Daniel Jabif ============================= So far, it seems that both Simemu and Ucables are trying to reach an economical agreement, as it seems there0s no willing from Ucables to stop selling this product. Regards to all ============================= ps from khyros, hope the translation is understandable and decent im a geneticist not a translator!!! Josh
