Alcatel 9024W Unlock Doesn't Work - GSM-Forum

Had this Sigmabox for 3-4 years. Have yet to unlock anything despite the money spent.

I tried unlocking this using a Windows 10 and Windows 7 Computer but they both produce the same results as indicated above. What the hell is going on?

Tried
1. Unlocking with the tablet on (USB Debugging, OEM Unlocked) but I am unable to connect to the port in this mode. (Can't activate DIAG or anything, *#2618# or ###2324# doesn't work)

2. Unlocking in download mode (power off, hold vol up and down). This is what provides that log above.

Can anybody help? Yes, I tried using search but it provides extremely unhelpful post like this one (http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/f719...world-2348798/) "USE SAME METHOD 5044R ATT i give this method don't ask to explain t try use ur brain follow this thread. its on forum" - How about just explain in it perfect detail and we won't have 10000 threads about it.

I found the trick guys, the very simple basic thing you have to do that nobody ever mentions.

You have to select direct unlock BEFORE you enter download mode and hold the volume up button.
