@ networker,

What cable exactly are you using?
Please specify step-by-step operation you perform.

Best Regards

I am using com port cable from siemens with whom I have never had a problem in communication with the phone (as I have with profilic or ftdi).
SigmaKey 1:11:00
98797xxx Sigma dongle 1.14, Initializing ... OK
SigmaKey 1:11:00 MTK: Get unlock codes
Communications Port (COM1) Provider: Microsoft Driver ver.: 5.1.2600.0, Date: 07/01/2001
Baud rate: Autodetect
Press and HOLD "Power on" button ... _

When I press Power on, the phone is turned on and the software does not show any error.
The same procedure with SmartMoto goes out first.
Greeting

Did you made any changes into "DTR&RTS settings" in sigmakey (options tab)?

networker, what cable do you use, exactly?
In case you are using USB cable, just select correct COM-Port in the Serial Port settings.

If you use physical COM port cable, just make the next settings in "DTR&RTS control":
DTR=ON RTS=ON

Okay, it would be better if you made such settings in "DTR&RTS control" (in case of using your cable):
DTR=ON RTS=ON
