Some important tips:

Battery must be connected to the phone's board and fully charged
Use hardware testpoint and modified USB cable
Connect phone to USB port placed on the backside of PC
Follow the instructions carefully - there are several important points.

Repeat the service operation. If it fails, the phone's hardware version is not supported.
