You will have to connect to the test point in any case.

Devices with closed (disabled) hardware TP:
You will have to use hardware testpoint and modified USB cable.

Follow these steps exactly in this order:

1. Turn off the phone. Battery must be connected to the phone's board and fully charged.
2. Disconnect the cable from the phone and the computer
3. Short the testpoint to the ground
4. Connect the cable to the phone
5. Connect the cable to the computer
6. On this stage HUAWEI USB COM 1.0 device will appear in the system.

Proceed to the device servicing.
