pls i need solution for blacberry 9380 curv softtouch phone i want to unlock it i have the code now but phone can not display where to enter unlock code samobody help me pls

2. Turn the BlackBerry Curve handset on.
3. On the front menu on the 9380, go to the SETTINGS MENU – then to OPTIONS
4. Select ADVANCED OPTIONS, and then SIM CARD
5. A personalization screen will appear.
6. Type MEPD using the keyboard on the Blackberry 9380 (What you type (MEPD) will not show on the Blackberry’s screen)
7. Type MEP, then press the ALT Button and press 2 on the keyboard of your Blackberry Curve 9380. (What you type (MEP {alt} 2) will not show on the Blackberry screen)


1) Insert any SIM card and turn off all wireless connections

2) Go to Options -> Device -> Advanced System Settings -> Sim Card

2) Hold down the 123 key it will switch to the numeric keyboard with ALT locked down now type the letters "mepe" (without the quotes, you will not see anything on the screen when typing)

3) Once you see the Personalization Screen Press and Hold the ALT key and type MEP2 (you will not see anything on the screen when typing).

i did jumper as above for 9380 sim started working and after few minutes
network gone and on screen massage came sim error and then i restarted
it and agian works for few minutes then simerror ,i tried to remove both capacitor bot same problem when i remove jumper then intilistion failed

try change the big black ic

for next trouble change the ic U2001(black ic) and check FL1800 (sim ic)
