try app loader first.

Local Disk C
Program Files
Common Files
Research In Motion
AppLoader
Loader
.....without baterry.....
then plug it in again

if it does not work try loading and then heat the IC close usb.I did this successfully

make NUKED first

reset boot room, Wipe , FOS .... it have shown No Aplication Link

if OK

do with RAPIDO or LOADER

Dear sir

bb 9800 the power IC is always hot, but it works ok and drains battery.

plz any solutions

dear sir
i have torch 9800 always shows red light and if i plug charger its getting hot at bottom of the battery it continously restarts if plugged on charger...Shows red light only getting hot but no display if connected to pc via usb same no change pc wont detect it please please give me solution...

check and test machine ONLY ... are the result the same?
connect the machine to the power suply, see how many ampers the result
