Just woundering how do i no witch sfi file i need is it depending on the os thats on the phone as if i open the firmware folder i have seen the sfi file there so just woundering all the onse that can be download sep sorry if its a dumb ? Am very new to all this thanks and also can i upgrade frpm 6 to 7 on any phone aslong as the hardware can hanfle it? Thanks

and also is there an update soon for the new sercurity so can do mep rest on new blackberrys and imei repairs thamks

hi what it is i am all new to all this not having a problem yet i wanted to no how people no witch sfi file to download heres a eg what ill.be doing today well gona try to do i have a 9700 thats got a white screen the lcd was changed but not by me so conect it to yhe computer and open pb then.i click.on the normal mode right slect the auto lcd sfi file for 9700. then.once done i slect normal mode again but this is were qm gona get stuck as i dont no witch sfi file i need to down load or can.i use the sfi file thats in.the firmware folder the firmware i have got is tge one on the phone so this sfi file in.this folder would be the right one or if not how do.o no witch one to down.load thanks

also i have download afew firms but say 9700 6.0.0236 is this newer than say 6.0.0.200
when.i flash a phone i always use the one with the highest number at the end as i just thought its the newest version please can some inform.me if this is right thanks

hi i have founf the info now just looked on here and some one is showing how to do the lcd with the same phone am doing so now i no the sfi file is in the firmware
but say i have a phone but not got the firmware doenload but only need to get ba sfi file how do i no witch one to download as theres loads to chose on the support down load list thanks

thanks tryed having ago at the lcd reset but no joy just still white i used the auto file 1 and tryed it with the auto file 2 for 9700 but nit working and now i have flashed it again but its getting stuck and not completing the flash
