3g/LTE for iphone 5 - GSM-Forum

I just purchase xsim for iphone 5 softbank(japan) and unlock it. my main problem is how to activate 3g imessage and facetime on my phone. I need it badly.. im currently using smart prepaid sim.. any suggestion or recommendation are highy appreciated. please teach me step by step ( noob here) thanks in advance.

you must turn on data roaming to use 3G data service.

if you using the simcard within the simcard country, it will no extra charge.
you must turn on data roaming for use 3g due to the x-sim unlock.
don't compare with non lock iphone, it is 2 difference thing, unlock by x-sim is not same as your original non lock iphone.
if you like too must that don't like turn on data roaming to use your iphone, please remove the x-sim and go for factory unlock (if your iphone carrier has support such service) otherwise, please accept the fact
