How to activate iMessages and FaceTime
The screen just shows waiting for activation
Do I need to delete the carrier bundle to activate it
trying to activate using WiFi

Locked to Rogers Canada

Yes it will activate, few bugs but will improve.

usually when I toggle iMessage in a factory unlocked phone I get a pop up that the carrier will charge for the out going message
but with x-sim there is no such popup, it is just trying to activate using Apple ID,
tried restoring iPhone, signing out and trying to activate but not successful so far
will keep trying though
hopefully all the bugs with be cleared in future updates

Just restore or update via ota, then connect itunes, choose new iphone, restore your back up manually via itools

x-sim has so much trouble... I haven't seen just 1 iphone working imessage and facetime with x-sim
