i9023 unlock boot and root 2.3.4 the procedure - GSM-Forum

Finally i unlock boot and root this version 2.3.4 Grj22, the right procedure is this:

Example is on Winxp 32
1. Unlock bootoader :

You need to have installed "jdk-7-windows-i586.exe" http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...ad-432154.html and Andorid-sdk r13-windows http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
if need driver you can lunch SDK Manager under Android Sdk after push cancel and go to Available package and search only google usb driver select this and download or search for this SoftonicDownloader_per_pdanet.exe and install http://pdanet.softonic.it/
After all installed

go to promt of command and type Cmd
now go in the directory where you have installed Android Sdk (in my case i have here C:Programs\Andorid\Android-sdk\tools)
Now find this two file AdbWinUsbApi.dll and AdbWinApi.dll make sure are in this directory otherwise you receive error.
if not found look in to Platform tools and copy form here to TOOLS directory. You now are ready for unlock boot.

Type the following command from Tools directory: fastboot oem unlock
If your phone is connected you will see.....waiting for.... in this moment disconnect phone and enable USB debugging and power off
now VOLUME UP + POWER ON and phone go in FASTBOOT MODE, look the display and point on YES.
Now look the screen and see LOCK STATE - UNLOCKED. Good your boot loader is unlocked.

2. Root phone (you have the phone in boot so no need to restart continue the process)

Donwload GRJ22-NexusS-One_click_root.zip http://www.4shared.com/zip/jfATFkuu/...lick-root.html
Extrait the file ( GRJ22-NexusS-One_click_root) where you want
Start phone in bootloader mode (Volume up + power)
Click only the file " install-superboot-windows.bat "
The phone now restart (REMEMBER ALL DATA LOST SO BACKUP FIRST)

ROOT IS DONE.!!

This guide is perfect and work 100% i do myself reading a lot of page around web, but as i continue to receive error because all guide
are missing of some step i post here for help all.
